Privacy policy

KATALOG is operated by TECFINITY Social Cooperative Enterprise, established in Acharnes, Attica, Greece. For anything in this policy — a question, a request about your data, or a complaint — write to [email protected] and a person will answer.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

It covers this website.

It does not cover the KATALOG platform at app.katalog.gr or the digital menus it publishes. There, each business decides what its menu contains and who manages it, under a separate agreement with us.

Three things, and nothing else.

• A demo request: your name, business name, email address, phone number, business type, number of locations, a link to your current menu if you give one, and whatever you write in the message box.
• Email you send us, and our replies.
• Analytics about the visit — pages viewed, referrer, approximate location from the IP address, device and browser type — and ordinary server logs kept for security and troubleshooting.

A demo request is handled so we can answer it and, if it goes well, prepare a proposal — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Analytics and server logs rest on our legitimate interest in understanding whether the site works and keeping it available and secure (Article 6(1)(f)). The analytics measure pages, not people.

Analytics run on Matomo, hosted by us at analytics.tecfinity.gr. The data stays on our own servers. It is not shared with an advertising network, not sold, and not fed to any third-party analytics product — there is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no social tracker on this site.

Matomo is configured without cookies, so reading the site leaves no tracking identifier on your device.

The site and its analytics run on infrastructure we operate. A demo request is delivered to our inbox through our email provider, as any email is.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We disclose data only where the law requires it.

A demo request is kept while the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Analytics are kept in aggregate.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or stop a particular use, and receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you can object.

Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month and do not charge for it. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that data is not handed to the wrong person.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
